Jewellery Solder Starter Set

We have put together this affordable starter set for beginners to soldering, it is ideal for those wanting to begin in a smaller way, making small/medium enamel settings, rings, pendants etc. It has everything you need except for the canister of butane gas for your torch. We use this model ourselves.

The contents of the set is as follows:

• 1x Torch- This excellent butane torch which reaches 1300'c and has a good output of heat, ideal for the beginner.
• 1x Hand crafted Titanium solder pick. We decided to hand craft this item due to the lack of good options available at this time. It is made to a very high standard, out of solid 2mm titanium rod and 6mm high quality aluminium for the handle. This pick will give many years of trouble free service. 
• 1x 100g Pickling solution crystals. We have decided to use Citric Acid as it is safer than most other solution and does a good job of cleaning off any oxides and flux. We have supplied 50g which should be mixed with 125ml of hot water and stirred until dissolved. We also chose this due to it being environmentally friendly and for all round safety purposes. ( you do not need to use copper tongs with this pickle solution).
  
• 1x Honeycomb soldering plate
• 1x Fibreboard (fireproof) to be used underneath the honeycomb soldering plate
• 1x Silver Solder 0.7g Eutectic (Enamelling) ) Our silver solder is assay quality.
• 1x 3rd Hand with straight locking tweezers
• 1x pair of tweezers
• 1x 10ml bottle AU Flux for Gold & Silver
• 1x Brush
